SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — A Macy's employee was arrested Thursday after police say he stole more than $1,000 worth of perfume from the distribution center he worked at.
Michael Collier, 53, of Hartford, was charged with fourth-degree larceny.
The charges stem from an internal investigation by the company's loss prevention personnel. Police said he was accused of stealing $1,136 worth of merchandise.
Collier was held on a $7,500 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on Oct. 10.
