Pershing County football player Trenton Rhodes and Bishop Manogue volleyball player Kaetlie Harris won the Champion Chevrolet Athlete of the Week honors for Week 8 of the fall sports calendar.
Rhodes picked up 3,907 votes, or 37.7% of this week's total, in the boys poll to edge Reno football player Dylan McCann, who had 3,633 votes (35.05%).
Harris won the girls poll with 10,059 votes, or 39.82% of the total, beating fellow Bishop Manogue athlete Joley Luke, who finished with 7,893 votes (31.24%).
Rhodes caught five passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns in the Mustangs' 46-0 win over Incline on Friday, Oct. 3. He also had 61 yards in punt returns and a TD, and led the Mustangs on defense.
