A man has been arrested in California in connection with an April homicide in Sun Valley.
Washoe County sheriff’s deputies responded April 9 to a reported medical emergency in the 300 block of Short Avenue, where they found 53-year-old Thomas Donoho. He was taken to a hospital and later died.
Deputies said Donoho had injuries consistent with a physical altercation. An autopsy by the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office later confirmed the death was a homicide.
Detectives identified Curtis Lee Williams, 44, as a suspect, alleging he was involved in the altercation before Donoho’s death. Williams was arrested Thursday by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Bureau and is awaiting extradition to Nevada.
