BRUNSWICK, Maine — Ripley is a four-month-old dog looking for her forever home through Midcoast Humane in Brunswick. She came to the shelter from Georgia.

The shelter says she is an affectionate puppy, who is looking for a family to snuggle and play with and help her learn about this big world.

The shelter thinks Ripley will do well in most homes, including those with other animals or children, as long as she has a family that has the time to help train her because all puppies are a lot of work.

There are a few ways you can support the shelter this month, including its "Cat Naps & Doggie Dreams" event. Nine people from the community will raise money to then spend the night in a kennel at the Brunswick shelter.
