Park City Council candidate Diego Zegarra led the field in fundraising, bringing in more than the other two contenders combined.
The three City Council candidates — Zegarra and incumbents Tana Toly and Jeremy Rubell — filed required financial statements at the Marsac Building recently.
Zegarra’s report indicates he raised $39,358 and spent $26,677. The campaign had a balance of $12,481.02 at the time of the report.
A number of prominent names is included on Zegarra’s list of contributors. Toly, one of the other candidates on the ballot, contributed $50. Some of the other contributors who are well known in the community include former Mayor Brad Olch, who gave $100, and former Mayor Andy Beerman and wife Thea Leonard, who gave $500.
