PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An intersection near downtown Phoenix is shut down after an officer-involved shooting in the area on Friday night.

It happened at 16th Street and Portland Street , which is just north of Roosevelt Street.

No officers were hurt and no suspects are on the loose, police said.

Video from the scene showed more than a dozen undercover police SUVs and trucks had responded to the scene. There was debris on the road near the sidewalk. It appeared a Honda sedan was boxed in and it had its hazard lights on.

Officers haven’t said if anyone was hurt or what led up to the shooting.
