EL CENTRO - Seniors hula’d their way through the Martin Luther King Jr. Sports Pavilion for the 3rd Annual Senior Appreciation Day on Thursday, October 9. The luau-themed event was hosted by the City of El Centro to provide information, resources, and a morning of hula fun.

Seniors 60 years old and up were invited from throughout the county. Cars lined the streets surrounding the sports pavilion, in addition to the Imperial Valley Transit providing transportation to and from the event for free, according to Community Services Department Executive Assistant Leah Arellano.
