EL CENTRO — The City of El Centro has named Verna Wow-Wright and Fernando Bañuelos as the 2025 Quiet Servant Award honorees, celebrating their profound yet unassuming impact on the community.

The award, presented quarterly, recognizes individuals whose selfless service and dedication make El Centro a better place to live and work. The two will be formally honored at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, October 21.
