After more than two years, the Toronto Raptors–New York Knicks legal drama has reached a conclusion.

Both sides agreed to voluntarily dismiss an August 2023 lawsuit involving the alleged theft of thousands of documents, according to a court filing obtained by ESPN on Friday.

The teams issued identical statements.

“The Knicks and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment withdrew their respective claims and the matter is resolved. The parties are focused on the future.”

Since the case was dismissed by New York “with prejudice,” it is considered permanently over.

In the lawsuit, the Knicks sued the Raptors, head coach Darko Rajakovic and a former Knicks scouting employee, saying the defendants conspired to steal thousands of videos and other scouting secrets.
