ANN ARBOR, MI — A nightclub in Ann Arbor just got a whole new look.

The multi-level nightclub and event space Necto, 516 E. Liberty St., erected a new sign outside its venue Oct. 1, owner Scot Greig confirmed.

The bright orange sign has the venue name in bold, capitalized letters running vertically down the sign.

Greig explained the venue added the sign to bring greater visibility to the venue.

“If you’re coming from any direction other than directly at us, you couldn’t really see where we were at,” Greig, 58, explained.

He also shared the new sign would highlight the venue as an entertainment site and is part of the going-out experience.

“ With Pinball Pete’s moving in next door , they’re going to have a new sign up going up soon, so we wanted our sign to be up and ready for that,
