COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Blue Jackets are unveiling a series of larger-than-life hockey pucks throughout the city to celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary.

The art installation recognizes key moments in the team's history.

A total of 12 pucks will be installed, with three of them being at the OhioHealth Chiller locations in Easton, Dublin and Lewis Center. The other nine will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Each sculpture stands 4 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 350 pounds. Made entirely of steel tubing and sheeting, the pucks serve as tributes to milestones in Blue Jackets history, from the team’s inaugural 2000 season to playoff victories and fan-favorite players.
