ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A massive event in Marietta made the streets and sidewalks more beautiful on Saturday.
The Chalktoberfest, an internationally recognized Chalk Art and Craft Beer Festival, took place Saturday and will continue Sunday at Marietta Square.
The event’s Craft Beer Festival, which took place Saturday from 12-5 p.m., included unlimited tastings of 120+ craft beers and 25 wines, plus live music and local food vendors.
On Sunday, the Community Chalk Competition will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where families, kids and local artists create their own chalk masterpieces and compete for prizes.
The festival is free and open to the public. Proceeds from the Craft Beer Festival benefit the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art, the only art museum in Metro Atlanta foc
