FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Organizers say “No Kings” demonstrations once again will take place nationwide, including stops in Arkansas.
No Kings is a U.S. grassroots movement opposing what it views as authoritarian actions by former President Trump, according to the group's website.
The first round of protests in June pushed back against President Trump’s 79th birthday events and immigration raids at the time, with organizers accusing him of using the day to boost his ego and escalate tensions, according to the Associated Press.
"On October 18, millions of us are rising again to show the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people," the front page of the movement's website reads.
