TEXARKANA – LNKTXK rocked Texarkana on Saturday evening with its eighth annual Destination Downtown.

LNKTXK Chair Natalie Copeland said upwards of 15 downtown businesses were designated as spots for the partygoers to stop and attend for complimentary incentives to encourage them to return.

“The entire purpose of this event is really to just bring patrons downtown; there are a lot of new people to the area or people who don’t frequent downtown a lot just to support these businesses down here and support the entertainment district,” said Copeland. “And, that’s not just limited to restaurants and bars; this also includes the galleries, the boutiques, and all these random little shops and everything else down here.”
