Motorists who illegally parked in a city's disabled bays have forked out more than £100,000 in fines over a three-year period.
Worcester City Council dished out over 1,000 fines annually between 2022 and 2024.
The council insisted its approach was not about penalising drivers but "protecting our communities".

Information obtained through a Freedom of Information request revealed 1,084 penalty charge notices were slapped on vehicles parked unlawfully in disabled bays in 2022.
The charges resulted in the council pocketing a total of £38,606.09.
