AUBURN — It's been true for three consecutive games now: Auburn football secures leads against quality competition, no matter how close it gets, only to fall in defeat.

After seeing that play out against Oklahoma and Texas A&M , in a winless start to SEC play, it happened again Saturday, Oct. 11, in the Tigers' 20-10 loss to No. 7 Georgia . The Tigers secured an early two-possession lead, but after the Bulldogs kicked a field goal just before halftime, they shut out Auburn , 20-0, down the stretch.

By the end, it was still disheartening, but Auburn had some moments of shine, as evidenced by the numbers from Pro Football Focus .
