As the holiday season approaches, Indiana State Police are urging drivers to stay calm and drive safely.
State Police highlighted that, beyond the busy fall harvest season, this time of year often sees people in a rush. This can lead to road rage and tension behind the wheel.
"Most of the time, it's just not worth it," Indiana State Police said.
Sgt. Jeremy Piers noted that when considering the entire drive, rushing doesn't significantly make up for "lost time."
With Halloween coming soon, drivers are reminded to watch for pedestrians, slow down, and practice safe driving habits.
