LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - After an unusually warm close to the weekend, we will see cooler but near normal temperatures to begin the workweek.
Let’s start with the highs. The reason for the cooler conditions is a cold front that moved across the area Sunday. Upper 50s to upper 60s are likely as northerly winds gusts up to 25 mph.
On Tuesday, we could see low 50s to the north and low 70s to the southeast.
Ample cloud cover is expected over the next 72 hours with showers possible during this time as well. Tuesday has the highest chance for rain.
Another warmup is expected this week with low 80s on Thursday. Rain could return on Friday, but next weekend looks overall quiet at this time.
