Amazon has allegedly responded to pressure from other huge companies to crack down on "dodgy" Fire Stick usage in the latest update.

Bosses at Sky hit out at Brits modifying the product to be able to illegally stream football games or even movies earlier this year.

Nick Herm, chief operating officer at Sky critiqued football fans who were reportedly printing out shirts with "'dodgy boxes and fire sticks' on them."

He said: "There are football fans who literally have shirts printed with 'dodgy boxes and fire sticks' on them."

It appears Amazon may be taking steps to prevent the illegal activity in their latest Amazon Fire Stick release.
