A combine driver has died after a collision with a train which caused the front locomotive to catch fire, Thursday morning near Page.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, on October 9 at about 11 a.m., a combine was traveling south on a gravel road about five miles northwest of Page when it collided with the front locomotive of a BNSF train heading west.

Once open 24 hours a day, a local restaurant serving German and American cuisine now has to close every evening due to a shortage of workers in North Dakota.
