(WAVY) -- Several school districts in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina will be closed Monday due to tidal flooding in the area.

A list of closures and announcements for remote learning days can be found below. The list will be updated as more information comes in.

Virginia

Gloucester

Gloucester County Public Schools announced a full school closure for Monday, Oct. 13 due to higher-than-expected water levels on the roads.

York

Sunday night, York County School Division announced that all schools and offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 13 as a result of tidal flooding. Officials said Tuesday, Oct. 14 will be an A-day for middle and high school students.
