NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man has been charged after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that was allegedly drag racing in Germantown on Saturday.

According to court documents, a hit-and-run was reported around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. Officers found a man lying unresponsive in the road near 4th Avenue and Jefferson Street.

Reports said surveillance video from the area showed the victim was struck by a green and black Dodge Charger that appeared to be drag racing with a black Dodge Charger. Both cars were reportedly driving side by side at high speeds when the green Charger struck the victim as he crossed 4th Avenue in a crosswalk.

The green Charger reportedly left the scene, and eventually returned. The driver -- identified as Travis Andry, 36 -- told investigators he "did not
