GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) - One person has been hospitalized after a weekend crash in Barren County.

On Sunday, Oct. 12, Glasgow police responded to the intersection of North Jackson Highway and Hutcherson Road in reference to an injury accident, according to a news release.

The investigation revealed that a 2013 Ford F-150 truck operated by Jacob Dennison struck the rear bumper area of a 2011 Ford F-350 truck driven by Haley Bryson, the release said.

Bryson was transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Hospital before being transported to Vanderbilt Hospital for further treatment.

No other injuries were reported, and seat belts were in use, Glasgow police said.

The accident was investigated by Officer Hunter Seiler, assisted by Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
