JACKSON — The FBI’s Jackson Field Office has launched a new digital media tips portal to collect videos and photos from the public in connection with the mass shooting in Leland on Oct. 11. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
The shooting erupted around midnight at the intersection of Fourth Street and North Main Street during Leland’s homecoming celebrations, apparently sparked by a disagreement among several people. Local authorities are leading the investigation, with federal assistance from the FBI.
