A shoplifter who raided seven B&Q stores for their taps will see three years of freedom go down the drain after he was jailed.

Daniel Cleveland, 33, had stolen around £16,000 worth of home supplies, mainly expensive taps over a year-long reign of terror for the high street hardware store.

Cleveland was finally caught on April 30 but his alleged partner-in-crime is still on the run – his identity unknown.
