ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - Getting on the trailer for a wagon ride is part of the fun of field trip days at Jeter Farm. Co-owner Ned Jeter II says they love to host school groups during their annual fall festival.

“My grandmother started the field trips back in the 60s. She got diabetes and then gave it up for a while. When my brother and I got out of college, she really encouraged us to start doing this again,” he said.

The tractor ride takes you to the corn maze. Ryker summed it up about right.

“A couple dead ends and we got out,” he said.

Making it through the corn maze is like stepping out of the wilderness and into the promised land. The open field has slides and a trampoline that Lucas really liked because of how bouncy it is.
