The Tupelo Police Department says an employee has been arrested in connection with an embezzlement reported at a business on North Eason Boulevard.
According to TPD, officers responded on Oct. 8, 2025, after the victim reported an employee had stolen merchandise valued at $3,072. Following an investigation, 27-year-old Malcolm I. Hall, of Pontotoc, was arrested on Oct. 10 and charged with one count of felony embezzlement.
That same day, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set Hall’s bond at $4,000. Police said the case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
Hall is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
