PORTLAND, Ore. — Starting Monday, the MAX Red Line will be closed from the Gateway Transit Center to the Portland International Airport for the Eastside MAX Improvements Project .

The service interruption is scheduled to last from Monday, Oct. 13 until Saturday, Oct. 18, according to TriMet.

Shuttle busses will run in place of the trains, but riders should be prepared for delays and give themselves extra travel time.
