EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Victory Theatre officials say explorer, talk show host and author Josh Gates is set to make an appearance in April.

Officials say Gates is from Discovery Channel’s smash hit series, Expedition Unknown and Josh Gates Tonight.

According to a press release, he will take viewers around the world and off the map with stories from his greatest expeditions and insights into the world’s greatest mysteries.

Officials say from hilarious misadventures, to thrilling moments of discovery, Gates is expected to keep audiences on the edge of their seats.

Tickets go on sale Friday, October 17 at 10 a.m. and may be purchased at Ford Center Ticket Office or Ticketmaster.com

The show takes place on April 29 at 7 p.m.
