EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Lots of school spirit was on display Wednesday at Memorial High School - all for a good cause!
The Tigers held a school wide pep rally, raising food donations for the Tri-State Food Bank.
The student-led “Key Club” started the fundraising efforts.
They were able to raise $1,800 to purchase more than 4,000 cans of food for Tri State Food Bank.
Key Club students helped organize the pep-rally for the school to celebrate all their hard work.
“It is so rewarding having this feeling of putting in this work, and I couldn’t do it without the other members of Key Club and all of our officers just putting an effort, and every dollar, every can was just really rewarding,” said senior Ella Melchoir.
After the rally, students helped load the food items on the Tri-State F
