CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A Clearfield County man was rushed to UPMC Altoona after crashing a motorcycle and landing on the roof of a shed, state police report.

A 28-year-old Brisbain man was traveling on a Yamaha along SR 253/Miriam Street in Remey Borough Friday evening, Oct. 10. As the man approached a right curve in the road, he failed to negotiate it, traveling straight across the opposing lane and striking a guardrail head-on, according to troopers.

The man was thrown from the motorcycle, traveling in the air for roughly 15 yards before landing on a shed roof. Troopers said he then slid off the roof and to the ground after about a minute.
