A 17-year-old boy was arrested on Monday for his suspected involvement in a deadly double shooting that happened in Northeast Philadelphia on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025.

According to police, at about 6 a.m. on Monday, officials apprehended 17-year-old Sahhir Mauzon, of South Philly, for his suspected involvement in the Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, slaying of Xzavier Gregory, 16, that happened in the city's Rhawnhurst section.

Mauzon, officials said, has been charged with murder, reckless endangerment, weapon violations and other offenses.
