MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two people were arrested over the weekend after allegedly working together to steal from Walmart, according to Mobile police.

According to an MPD news release, at about 6:24 p.m. Friday, officers were called to the Walmart at 101 East I-65 Service Road in reference to a theft.

INCIDENT LOCATION

When officers arrived, they learned a man and woman were allegedly changing barcodes on clothing so that the scanner would read a lower price.

Lisa Nelson, 47, and George Nash Jr., 36, both of Lucedale, Miss., were arrested and charged with organized retail theft.

They were taken to Metro Jail.
