A man accused of setting a woman on fire has been arrested.
Sean Hofmann, 42, was arrested.
Just before 5:30 p.m. Friday Tulare County Sheriff's Office Deputies were called to the 24100 Block of Avenue 120 in Porterville for a medical aid.
When they arrived, Deputies found a woman with severe burns to her face, arms and torso. Through their investigation, Deputies learned Hofmann had intentionally poured a highly flammable accelerant on or near the victim, catching her on fire.
The victim was flown to a nearby hospital, where she's in stable condition. Hofmann was arrested without incident.
