CHAMPAGN-URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) -- All day on Monday, WCIA 3 News has focused on spreading breast cancer awareness. But, besides introducing you to doctors, patients and survivors, it's also important to remember the family members constantly supporting those in the fight.
That's where Kesem comes in. Kesem is a nationwide nonprofit that provides free programming for children whose parents were recently diagnosed with cancer. There are nearly 5,000 volunteer college students at more than 115 college chapters across the county.
