JOHNSON COUNTY - A Warrensburg teenager crashing her vehicle into a tree in Johnson County early Monday morning resulted in two people suffering injuries.

According to a report from the Highway Patrol, a 2006 Chevy Blazer was headed westbound on North College Avenue at East Culton Street just after 3:30 a.m. when the driver, 17, crossed the center of the road before striking the tree, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.

Although the driver had minor injuries, her male passenger, 15, sustained moderate injuries. Both were taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.
