St. Luke’s Episcopal Church of Park City has announced its intention to sell the historic chapel located in Old Town on Park Avenue.

The church said that it will invest proceeds from the sale in the modernization and expansion of the church’s main campus on Silver Springs Road in order to ensure that the church can strengthen its presence and community outreach through ministries and missions.

“Since 1889, St. Luke’s and its parishioners have been active members of the Park City community,” said Ted Clayton, senior warden of St. Luke’s. “As our congregation grows, we are committed to preparing our campus for the future. Selling our beloved Chapel is a difficult decision, but it will allow us to better serve our members and the wider community for generations to come.”
