WAYLAND, Mich. — Hope you're hungry, West Michigan. A fast food favorite is back!

Over 150 customers lined up outside the newly opened Hot 'n Now drive-thru in Wayland on Monday, eager to try the restaurant's signature olive burgers and cheesy taters after a years-long hiatus.

The legendary fast-food chain first opened its doors at a 10:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first customers were co-owners Monica King and Jeff Konczak.

"It's so fun to see the smiles as customers drive through," said King, CEO of GLI, the Grand Rapids-based economic development corporation behind the venture. "Many are making the drive to relive fond memories, and we can't wait to see more."
