ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (WKRG) — This week, Orange Beach City Schools will host a ribbon-cutting for its brand new, $46.1 million athletic complex.
The state-of-the-art facility includes a field house, competition gym, covered practice facility, and the centerpiece of the new complex — a 3,500-seat football stadium.
Orange Beach City Schools Superintendent Randy Wilkes said the facilities are hurricane-proof and meant to last for at least 100 years.
“We are thrilled to open the doors of this incredible facility to our students, families, and the entire Orange Beach community,” Wilkes said. “This complex is more than just a collection of buildings; it is an investment in our students’ future and a testament to the support of our city and community partners.”
