NICEVILLE, Fla. (WKRG) — An officer with the Niceville Police Department has been arrested after an investigation into local databases.

According to an NPD news release, Coty Hall was arrested on Oct. 10 and "charged in violations of Florida State Statute 815.06 (2) (A) which pertains to offenses against users of computers, computer systems, computer networks and electronic devices."

Officials said the internal audit that was conducted between January and October 2025 found that Hall was using these databases to search for personal information on another officer and their spouse in order to harass them.

NPD officers said this is an ongoing investigation.
