MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Manhattan-bound 7 trains are severely delayed as New York City rush hour peaks on Monday, according to the MTA.

Officials say repairs are being made to a broken rail near Grand Central-42nd St. Station.

This is causing delays and "extremely limited" service between Queensboro Plaza and 34 St.-Hudson Yards. The last stop for some Hudson Yards-bound 7 trains is Hunters Point Av.

Queens-bound trains arrive on the 34 St.-Hudson Yards track at Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av and Hunters Point Av.

For alternate service to Hudson Yards, the "E" and "M" trains can get you there, or transfer at Queensboro Plaza for the "N" and "W" trains.

The LIRR will be cross-honoring MetroCards and OMNY tickets between Penn Station and Grand Central-42 St to 61 St-Woodside.
