VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach elected officials and Rep. Jen Kiggans were at Lockheed Martin Monday morning to experience a simulator of one of the most advanced aircraft, the F-35 Lightning II.

According to Lockheed Martin, the F-35 program is economically significant and delivers more than $250 million annually. It also employs more than 2,000 Virginians.
