Signs that say, "Bring them home now," have stood on the front lawn of Chattanooga's Jewish Cultural Center for the past two years.
Monday, as all 20 remaining Israeli hostages return to their families, many of those signs will finally come down.
"We have hope that not only will all of the hostages come home, but (that) this ceasefire will eventually turn into some sort of a peace," said Michael Dzik, president and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Chattanooga. "There are still 48 signs of each of the hostages. We’re looking forward to later today taking some of those down that have come home.”
Dzik traveled to Israel three times since the start of the war.
