Police investigating suspicious death of 90-year-old in Manassas – NBC4 Washington

Nearly everyone in a Manassas neighborhood seemed to know the elderly couple who’s lived on the corner of historic Grant Avenue for decades. So they were alarmed to see the home surrounded Monday morning by crime scene tape and police cars.

A 90 year old man — who has lived here for decades — has died. News4 isn’t identifying him by name because police have not publicly done so yet.

“My mother was sending me pictures through her window and said something was going on, and by the time I got out here, I saw them taking somebody out,” said Manassas resident Simone Reddington. “[…] The crime scene tape has come up. That just adds to the questions.”
