KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - The longer the Government shutdown lasts the more impact it will have on airports around the country.
While some have already seen flights and security lines affected, regional airports like the one on Killeen have not.
Operations at the Killeen Regional Airport have not been affected so far but they operate a little differently given their connection to Fort Hood.

Control towers at other airports are manned by the FAA.
