LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating after a man suffering from a gunshot wound walked into a downtown Louisville hospital Monday.
An LMPD spokesperson said the man walked into the hospital just after 2 p.m. and that the shooting happened a short time earlier in the 1000 block of South 28th Street.
That's in the Parkland neighborhood.
LMPD said the man is expected to survive.
Detectives from the the Non-Fatal Shooting Unit are investigating.
