BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - Sometimes, a gift is more than just a gift. Sometimes, it’s a way to remember a loved one, and a piece of family history passed down to the next generation.

Two mustangs, a ’65 and ’66, were gifted from a father to his two daughters, Kelsey and Mariah.

A handoff a decade and a half in the making began with a daydream by Bruce Rittel. A deep dive into muscle cars on BisManOnline, a local online marketplace, drove him to an opportunity he never saw coming.

“On the very top of page number six, on BisManOnline, there’s ’65 Mustang sat in a barn for 30 years. I looked at it and I go, ‘That’s the car that’s been on my mind for two months,’” said Bruce.
