UNION CITY, Ga. — Fulton County Police will become more knocked in investigating animal attack cases after an attack that they said led to 62-year-old Donna Nguyen's death.

Police believe a group of dogs attacked her on Lakeside Drive on August 1, but said they'll never know which dogs ultimately killed her due to a lack of evidence.

Fulton County Police Chief Wade Yates said he has spoken to Nguyen's family and answered everything he could.

‘My heart breaks for them," Yates said.

The county will handle future cases differently. Starting later this year, Fulton County Police will oversee the animal service teams that respond to attacks like this.
