Waller Park pulsed with laughter and purpose Saturday morning as hundreds came together for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Santa Maria, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association California Central Coast Chapter.

From families walking in memory of loved ones to volunteers and healthcare workers advocating for change, the event brought together people of all ages, backgrounds and stories united by one mission: to end Alzheimer’s.

Many wore the signature purple in clothing, hats, and even wigs, symbolizing solidarity with those affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
