MONTGOMERY, Ala. —

Police in Montgomery have charged another person in connection with a mass shooting in that city earlier this month.

According to a social media post from the Montgomery Police Department, Dantavious McGhee, 19, was charged with one count of capital murder, nine counts of first-degree assault and three counts of third-degree assault.

Police said McGhee was taken into custody Oct. 13 and booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

Police also arrested a juvenile Oct. 10 and faced similar charges including capital murder and assault.

The arrests were made following the shooting which killed two people and injured 12 others Oct. 4.
